I started working with glass 30+ years ago. I first learned how to create stained glass art and then moved on to kiln formed art. Kiln formed glass is glass art created by combining compatible glass in a kiln to make a new design.

I lived in Northern Virginia for decades and taught kiln formed glass for several years at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, VA. I wanted to get away from the crowds and bustle of the city and move to a more calming environment. So I retired from working with computers, moved to Trumansburg, N,Y and built my own glass studio. I built it large enough so I could continue to teach kiln formed glass and share my experience. The different techniques that can be used to create art with glass are endless.
