Tiny Bubbles
10” plate with a gentle slope with a grid pattern of bubbles.
This design was created using clear ribbed glass and adding 2mm stringers in various colors. Two pieces were created and then stacked on top of each other in perpendicular with the stringers touching each other creating a plaid design. After melting it creates tiny bubbles in the voids. I cold worked the piece and added a periwinkle border and then sand blasted the border before slumping in to a dish.
All product must be picked up in studio only.
